How To Submit A Video Audition

A video audition is your opportunity to showcase your skills and take the next step toward becoming a part of our dynamic and high-energy band program. Video Submissions and Live Virtual Auditions are for Senior/Transfer Instrumentalists. There are separate directions for auxiliary auditions.

Here’s what to do:

1. Prepare Your Audition Video

   • Woodwind/Brasswind - Play three (3) major scales and your chromatic Scale (2 Octaves).

   • Percussion - Bass Drum, Tenor Drum, Cymbals - Play a five-stroke, paradiddle, & Flam Accent (Open/Closed/Open)

   • Percussion - Snare, Quint - Play a Shirly Murphy, Book Report, & Choo Choo (Open/Closed/Open) & a Solo

2. Submit Your Video – There are three (3) ways to submit your video:

   • DM (direct message) your video to @ewu_triple_threat on Instagram

   • Upload your video to YouTube and send your audition recording link via text to 904-323-0899

   •  Email the link to alvin.davis@ew.edu

3. Stay Connected – Complete the audition registration form by CLICKING HERE.
